Weaving rag rugs is very special to me. My grandmother and her sister taught me all sorts of fiber arts while I was a very young child. They must have really imparted a love of hand crafts to me because I later earned a degree in Textile Design from SUNY Buffalo. I have been weaving ever since then...about 25 years!
I work from my home in Upstate New York near the Fingerlakes. Weekly I go to The Ithaca Farmers' Market to display and sell my rag rugs.
